Winter Wonderland!
We had three weddings this past weekend. Two were cupcake’s with edible snowflakes on the top of each one. 425 cupcakes total!
The decorations at the reception halls were absolutely beautiful!
Silver was the accent color for all three, I love how all three came out.

November, last big wedding month of the year, (at least for us). December and January are filling up nicely however. 
This month was one busy month – business and personal. November 5th had some great weddings, and the biggest date of the month 11.11.11! Add to that my sister-in-laws wedding on the 12th that I had to privilege of being the maid of honor in. It was a busy, crazy week, but I wouldn’t change anything .
Here are the pictures from this month. I hope you enjoy them. I will add blog posts periodically through the winter, just not as much as the summertime.

She loves the old style cakes with stairs and people. Her favorite color is purple. It was a small (130) cake and punch reception. It was fantastic! Everyone had a great time.

Still staying busy going into November, what a great year! So many great and fun weddings the past few weeks. Love all the designs! We have done more cupcake weddings this year than any other year. So much fun . And so easy for servings your guests…

Most cake deliveries are done when everyone is getting ready for the big day. So most of the time we don’t get to see the brides face when she sees the cake. We also don’t ever get to see them cut the cake, so when I received these pictures from two separate weddings I was so excited to see them. I love the looks on their faces! Awesome.

Fall is the best season. The best smells, colors… everything! I love a good fall wedding too. Had two this past weekend with that theme.

This post has nothing to do with the cakes we have done for the past few weeks. However this is my sister-in-law and her fiancé. I will be blogging about their wedding in November though .
Now I in no way claim to be a photographer. But when asked to takes pictures every now and then I’m always glad to. So I wanted to share some pictures with friends and using Facebook just doesn’t do any justice. So here they are, my little attempt at photography. What do you think?

I am so far behind in our blog posts! September was a very busy month for us, so many different designs, and lots of fun!
The first weekend we had one wedding that was an old classmate of mine, Congrats Terri!
And then each weekend after was progressively more weddings. So since I’m behind a few weeks, here they all are in one long post … Enjoy!

Really can’t believe it’s the end of August already. This summer has flown by for us. It’s been a busy couple of weeks so I’m a week behind on posting pictures. We’ve had some new reception places that are just amazing. One wedding was overlooking Lake Michigan from a top a hill, it looked wonderful! And the weather was perfect that day.
New place for us was Mill Creek Barn by Watervliet. I just love older rustic buildings. I included a couple pictures of the inside…

My favorite this week was the cupcakes that went to St.Mary’s college, half of the cupcakes were next to the sweetheart table and half across the way. It was a very cute setup, some of the cupcakes had strawberry filling in them….yum!
